We spent a full year capturing and editing this piece with one big goal: helping the viewer feel Madison in their soul.
We did this by:
- Focusing on Madison’s lake-city-lake point of difference
- Capturing never-before-seen points of view
- Making an investment that benefits partners, too!
Collaboration
Destination Madison’s brand video was created as a collaboration between Destination Madison and Sam Li,
the Madison-based cinematographer known for his majestic, sweeping shots, energetic editing style and passion for
the destination.

Volunteers
At the start of this project
we launched our first-ever volunteer model database with the goal of capturing real people in real moments.
And we couldn’t have predicted the passion of
our locals: 330 people volunteered and our database is still growing!
